Flippin' Pizza rolling across Texas, Georgia, California

Flippin' Pizza NY Pies & Slices is expanding across the US over the next few years starting in Texas, Georgia and California. The 10-year-old fast casual brand is based in San Diego but serves Brooklyn-style, hand-tossed pies made on dough created from only four ingredients — including water filtered as it is in New York, according to a company press release.

Over the next few years, Flippin' Pizza has commitments for 25 franchise and company locations across Texas, California and Georgia. With current locations in California, Georgia, Maryland, Texas, Virginia, and Washington DC, the brand is continuing to expand its NYC roots in surrounding territories throughout the US. Since the start of the year, four locations opened in new territories of Texas and Georgia with two more locations opening this winter in Texas, said Flippin' Pizza Marketing Director Michelle McKee. 

"We enter this next decade with confidence and excitement having already developed a cult following within the communities we serve," she said in the release. "To start our second decade off strong and stand out from the growing build-your-own pizza competition, we flipped up our brand, menu, and technology to meet guests' needs for convenience and customization. We have introduced a clean, fresh brand look and feel both in-store and online, a revamped menu, new websites and mobile ordering app, and have launched our Flippin' Perks loyalty program. We are excited about our brand evolution and are continuing to enhance the customer experience."
