Flame Broiler opens in San Juan Capistrano, California

Flame Broiler opened its latest unit this week in San Juan Capistrano, California. It celebrated Monday with a grand opening and is featuring special offers for the first three months of business, including any bowl with a regular drink for $5.99 and tax or any plate with a regular drink for $7.99 and tax, according to a company press release.

Franchisees Rishi and Rupa Rathod are excited about introducing the local community to a healthy alternative.
 
"The San Juan Capistrano area has diversified foot traffic and nothing like Flame Broiler in the area," Rishi Rathod, said in the release. "I am confident that the healthy, affordable and clean food Flame Broiler has to offer will be successful within our community, and am pleased to be a part of Flame Broiler's mission of providing cleaner eating options."  
 
Flame Broiler's core menu features rice bowls that start at 140 calories. The bowls are made with non-GMO white or brown rice, Angus beef, all-natural chicken or organic charbroiled tofu, freshly blanched vegetables, and topped with chopped green onions

"The growth our brand has seen in recent months was never planned but extremely exciting to see," said Young Lee, CEO and founder of Flame Broiler. "As a brand, we're especially proud to take over a new territory in our own backyard, and looking forward to what the Rathods will bring to the table." 
 
Founded in 1995, in Orange County, California, Flame Broiler has grown to nearly 200 restaurants throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, Oklahoma, Idaho, Florida and North Carolina.
