Five Guys to open in LaGuardia airport

Five Guys Burgers and Fries will open a location Thursday at LaGuardia Airport's Central Terminal Building, with a grand opening event set to offer airport traveler's gift cards, T-shirts, special offers, trivia contests and freebies.

The Food & Shops at the airport also will be celebrating Passenger Appreciation Day in conjunction with the Five Guys opening.

In addition to doling out items to travelers, Five Guys will host a "Free Meal" raffle just for LaGuardia Airport employees. Fifty winners will be chosen and each will receive a $10 Five Guys gift card. The drawing will be conducted July 16 in the west food court near Gates D.
