Five Guys opens cloud kitchen in Seattle

Five Guys is firing up the grills at Lake Union Eats, a CloudKitchens delivery and takeout hub in Seattle at 1601 Dexter Ave. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m, Seattleites may now order from Five Guys via delivery apps and FiveGuys.com.

"We're beyond excited to bring the Five Guys experience to the heart of downtown Seattle," Faisal Khalil, franchisee and owner of Lake Union Burgers, said in a company pres release. "From our crave-worthy burgers and hand-cut fries to our classic milkshakes and hot dogs, we can't wait to serve the Seattle community. Thanks to our partnership with CloudKitchens, we've finally found the perfect way to enter this vibrant market — and this is just the beginning."

With the continued growth of digital ordering for Five Guys, ghost kitchens like Lake Union Eats provide the brand with a smart, streamlined way to grow — without the heavy upfront investment of a traditional brick-and-mortar location. This marks Five Guys' second location launched in collaboration with CloudKitchens, further growing their partnership.
