First-time Captain D franchisees open in Georgia

Captain D's opened its newest franchise location in Lovejoy, Georgia, this week, marking the brand's 98th site in the state. Franchisees Ali Momin, Abrar Momin and Micky Patel own it and and have more than 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry.

The location is the group's first Captain D's franchise, but according to a news release, the three owners want to develop more sites around Atlanta in the future. 

"The company has grown tremendously over the past several years, and has really become a standout in the fast casual segment," said Momin.

Captain D's is on track for its fourth successive year of achieving record high system-wide AUV and its sixth consecutive year of same-store sales increases, according to the releaes.
