Firehouse Subs opens first mall location

ORLANDO, Fla. — Firehouse Subs opened its first shopping mall food court location in December 2007, the company has announced.
The Millennia Mall location replaces the Firehouse Subs restaurant on John Young Parkway in Orlando, Fla., which was closed Nov. 27 and relocated inside the mall. Franchise owner Don Davey, along with business partner Scott Anthony, own four other Orlando-area Firehouse Subs locations.
The Millennia Mall food court location features a hand-painted mural and battle-worn firefighter gear including helmets and axes donated by an Orlando fire station.
