Firehouse Subs bringing 1,300 jobs to St. Louis area

Firehouse Subs plans to open 52 restaurants targeting the areas of St. Louis, Jefferson City and Columbia, Mo., Southeastern Illinois and Paducah, Ky, creating more than 1,300 jobs, according to a company press release.

Area Representative Michael Domico, who joined Firehouse Subs in 2010 as a franchise business manager, will oversee the new units. He has worked 30 years with quick-service and fast casual brands and said he plans to turn Greater St. Louis into a thriving Firehouse Subs franchise territory.

"Firehouse Subs gives entrepreneurial hopefuls the opportunity to achieve their dreams," he said. "Throughout the past three years I've witnessed how the brand provides its franchisees with an incredible level of support to be in business for themselves, but not by themselves."
