New York City-based Fields Good Chicken is reopening its Flatiron location Friday at 46A East 23rd St., at Park Avenue South.
Located two doors down from the original location, which opened in 2017, the restaurant features an upgraded interior design inspired by Founder Field Failing's s time living in Colorado. The 1,673-square-foot space evokes the state's laid-back ski culture vibe with vibrant, retro colors, wood accents and other outdoorsy touches, according to a company press release. The design draws elements from FGC's 12th Street location, which opened in early 2020 with a skiing and biking theme.
Although the look is new, the restaurant still serves the chicken roastery's signature menu of whole-roasted birds, chicken plates and bowls, all made with antibiotic-free and humanely raised chicken.
Now with six Manhattan locations, Fields Good Chicken has added contactless pickup and delivery, and the Flatiron location will eventually offer indoor seating. Customers may order via the recently relaunched FGC App as well as through Seamless, Uber Eats and GrubHub.
The first FGC location opened in NYC's Financial District in 2014.
