Fazoli's secures 2-unit North Carolina franchise deal

Fazoli's, based in Lexington, Kentucky, is bringing more of its Italian dishes to North Carolina via a deal with Jeff Milliken to open in Shallotte and Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Milliken, a Shallotte resident, has been in the foodservice business most of his life and said he wants to bring his expertise in the industry to his hometown.

"I went down to Georgia to speak with some Fazoli's franchisees and was impressed by how highly they each spoke of their experience," he said in a company press release. "I learned that Fazoli's is truly a family, and the leadership team always supports its franchisees. They are all in to help us succeed. I knew immediately, after that first meeting, that this team wants us to be successful, and that was so encouraging for me."

The brand, which has nearly 220 units, is seeking multi-unit operators to help expands its footprint throughout the U.S.
