FATZ has been named the Certified Angus Beef brand "Newcomer Restaurant Chain Marketer of the Year" award. This award is given to restaurants that exemplify tremendous support through marketing, advertising, promotions and more, of the Certified Angus Beef brand. This respected award is not given every year, but rather only presented to companies that exceed expectations with the Certified Angus Beef brand, said Amanda Wydner, executive account manager of the Certified Angus Beef brand.
"There is no chain on my radar, either new or veteran, that has demonstrated such a comprehensive approach to marketing the brand," she said in a company press release.
She also expressed how pleased she was with FATZ and the effort it has made in marketing the brand as a whole and adopting the Certified Angus Beef name and trademarks. Examples of FATZ and Certified Angus Beef promotions include ads in Clemson University and University of South Carolina's alumni publications, signage inside and outside of each FATZ restaurant and an overall dedication to quality menu items.
