FAT Brands growing French presence

FAT Brands Inc., parent company of Fatburger and Buffalo's Express, has landed a 40-unit franchise deal to expand in France.

In partnership with BGH Investments, the deal will deliver co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo's Express locations throughout France and comes on the heels of a recently announced deal to open two Fatburger locations in Paris within the next 18 months.

"Expansion is at the core of FAT Brands, and we are thrilled to build upon our growth and the large appetite for classic American fare in France. This development deal will also introduce locals to signature wings from Buffalo's Express," FAT Brands CEO Andy Wiederhorn said in a company press release.

Along with Fatburger and Buffalo's Express, Los Angeles-based FAT Brands owns Johnny Rockets, Buffalo's Cafe, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Elevation Burger, Yalla Mediterranean and Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses. It franchises over 700 units worldwide.
