Fast casuals will shine bright at Hudson Yards in New York City

The Hudson Yards development in New York City will boasts a slew of fast casual brands, including Bluestone Lane, Fuki and Jack’s Stir Brew.

The dining lineup, according to a press release, includes partners Maison Kayser, Blue Bottle Coffee and ice cream brand, Van Leeuwen. Each will offer a menu item or offering exclusive to Hudson Yards diners.The neighborhood development will open in March 2019.

Many of the offerings of the Hudson Yards dining collection will be housed in the one-million-square-foot Shops & Restaurants, anchored by New York City's first Neiman Marcus.

"We are excited to unveil these latest additions to the dining collection which will further enhance the 24-hour culinary experience at Hudson Yards," said Kenneth A. Himmel, restaurateur and president and CEO of Related Urban, the mixed-use division of Related Companies, in the release. "From a strong cup of coffee in the morning, to a quick treat in the afternoon, to a celebratory meal at night, our diverse range of culinary offerings will provide a comprehensive and complementary dining experience for residents, employees, locals and visitors alike."

Australian-influenced hospitality and lifestyle brand, Bluestone Lane, will open a uniquely designed concept featuring a walk-up coffee bar, seated café and dedicated catering services.

"Hudson Yards is a perfect fit for Bluestone Lane, and we are thrilled to be a part of this iconic neighborhood," said Nicholas Stone, Bluestone Lane founder and CEO, in the release. "We're excited to meet our fellow tenants and to introduce Bluestone Lane’s signature Aussie-style coffee and healthy café fare to Hudson Yards."

Jack’s Stir Brew will open two locations in Hudson Yards. A walk-up coffee bar concept will be located on the fourth floor, occupying a 840-square-foot space, and the second location will open on the ground level of 30 Hudson Yards.

"Our priority at Jack’s is always the community, and that’s why we are so excited about opening in the Hudson Yards neighborhood," said Jack’s Stir Brew founder Jack Mazzola in the release.

Blue Bottle Coffee, founded by James Freeman in Oakland, Calif. in 2002, is a network of cafés in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York, Washington D.C., Boston, Miami and Japan. Van Leeuwen will be housed on the third floor in a 650-square-foot space designed by Carpenter + Mason.
