Farmers Restaurants tap Agilysys Workforce Management

The four-unit chain will use WMx for scheduling, labor forecasting, hiring and more.

Agilysys Inc announced that Farmers Restaurant Group of Washington, D.C., has selected the Agilysys Workforce Management Solution for its four restaurant locations.

"We evaluated a number of workforce management systems and found that WMx is truly a 'best of breed' solution, with all the features and functionality we require," said Dan Simons, concept developer and managing partner at Farmers Restaurant Group, in a press release from Agilysis. "Our employees are our most valuable resource, and WMx will help us with recruiting and hiring, maintaining different pay rates, scheduling according to employee skill, forecasting on demand, and the many other details of maintaining a successful workplace. Our company is expanding, and we are confident that WMx will keep up with our increasing demands and grow along with us."

WMx includes tools for performance-based scheduling, labor forecasting, embedded workflow for employee hiring, employee self-service and multiple time-capture solutions. It integrates with numerous point-of-sale, property management, inventory and procurement and payroll systems.
