Spiros Havadjias, the son of a Farmer Boys co-founder, is acquiring the location at 2000 E. Alessandro Blvd., in Riverside, California. Since graduating from USC in 2022, Spiros was eager to elevate the family business.
"Farmer Boys is truly a special concept and I'm thrilled to continue playing a part in its growth," Spiros said in a company press release. "Our brand has impacted countless communities over the decades and I carry a deep sense of pride in playing such a crucial role in the family business. I'm eager to uphold our legacy of exceptional service and farm-fresh food, ensuring that each guest experience is nothing short of extraordinary."
The deal comes amid an aggressive growth plan for Farmer Boys, aiming to open 50 locations over the next five years and enter three new regions.
"With Farmer Boys being a family-founded and driven brand, it's amazing to see this trend continue with Spiros," John Lucas, VP of Brand and Franchise Development, said in the release. "The Havadjias brothers have devoted much of their lives to the growth and development of Farmer Boys and I know that Spiros will follow in their footsteps."
