Farm Burger has promoted its COO, David Danowitz to CEO. Co-founder Jason Mann, former CEO, will now serve as executive chairman, where he will continue to support Danowitz's development while focusing on high-level strategy surrounding sourcing, supply chain, design, technology, sustainability and social and environmental initiatives, according to a company press release.

"Each of these areas represents a passion of mine, and I'm excited for the opportunity to spearhead Farm Burger's continued growth as an industry leader," Mann said in the release. "For the past year, David has led with fierce courage and compassion while embodying the core values that we founded our restaurants on 10-years ago. Under his leadership, Farm Burger is well positioned to realize its fullest potential as we look toward the future."

Danowitz joined Farm Burger in 2018, bringing more than 25 years of restaurant industry experience, which included serving as the COO at the Goldbergs Group of Restaurant Companies, and as the VP of operations at Mellow Mushroom.

"My journey with the Farm Burger community has been incredibly rewarding, and I'm eager to continue growing our brand," Danowitz said in the release. "At the end of the day, we want to demonstrate the importance of honoring our people, the planet and the integrity of our ingredients in everything we do, and I'm excited to continue strengthening that ethos and expanding its reach."

As CEO, Danowitz is responsible for setting Farm Burger's strategy and direction, identifying brand priorities, managing resources and aligning operational excellence with brand mission, culture and values at every level.

"David's vision and development of our company culture will be crucial as we continue to grow the Farm Burger community," Mann said. "We're grateful to those who have supported our efforts to bring a better burger experience to the mainstream and look forward to what the future holds."

Founded in 2010, Farm Burger has 12 locations nationwide.
