Famous Dave's launching dual-branded restaurant

Famous Dave's and franchisee Dave Crimmins are working together to open a restaurant in Colorado Springs to serve food from Famous Dave's as well as Texas T-Bone Steakhouse.

"We're thrilled to partner with a new franchise partner in order to pair these two legendary restaurants within one building as a dual-branded effort," Jeff Crivello, CEO of Famous Dave's parent company, BBQ Holdings Inc., said in a company press release. "This new restaurant is among many of our initiatives that deliver to our customers' suggestions to evolve our brand."

Throughout the pandemic, Famous Dave's has adapted its business model in order to continue serving customers safely and efficiently, while opening several restaurants and ghost kitchen locations throughout the U.S., Crivello said. It's also invested in technology and shifted to a smaller footprint, he said.

"It's an exciting era for Famous Dave's as we focus on growth and innovation of our brand, while continuing to implement the same core values that Famous Dave's has held for 26 years." he said.

Famous Dave's was founded by Dave Anderson in Hayward, Wisconsin. It now has 125 locations in 31 states and three countries, including 31 company-owned and 101 franchise-operated restaurants.
