Burger 21 to open second Georgia unit.
July 17, 2015
Burger 21 has announced that it will open a second restaurant this month in Georgia. This one will be located in Buckhead, at 4279 Roswell Road NE, Suite 206 in the Chastain Square Shopping Center. The restaurant will donate 10 percent of proceeds from the first week of business to CURE Childhood Cancer. Additionally, the franchise will give Burger 21 swag bags to the first 100 guests on opening day.
The new restaurant is locally owned by Chris Bastecki and three of his children: Chris, Alyssa and Briana, who will manage the restaurant’s daily operations. Bastecki is a seasoned multi-unit restaurant owner of six Jimmy John’s locations in Gwinnett County that he and his three children own and operate. The family recently signed a lease agreement for a second Burger 21 restaurant in Kennesaw, which is slated to open next year and plans to develop a third restaurant of the better burger concept in the market over the next few years, according to the release.
“We spent nearly 18 months searching for a new franchise partner. After dining at Burger 21 for the first time and becoming obsessed with the delicious flavor profiles of the food, we knew that the brand was the right choice for us,” said Chris Bastecki. “Burger 21 has become our family’s favorite place to eat and we are confident the rest of Atlanta will enjoy the experience as much as we do.”
