Extreme Pita targets California for growth

San Mateo County Times: Toronto, Canada-based Extreme Pita is moving into the Bay Area, opening two shops and promising to open as many as 40 in the next five years.Ray Zandi, under the corporate name DesertBay Development, is bringing the chain to California. He has been the operator and franchisee of Quiznos and Subway stores, as well.
