Employee benefits added to Square Payroll

Square, Inc. has launched employee benefit offerings within Square Payroll to give small business users access to benefits like health insurance and retirement savings options.

The benefits integrate with the system which eliminates administrative complexities that often come with the offering of such employee benefit options, according to a press release.

Benefits include:

• Health insurance
• Retirement savings
• Pre-tax spending
• Workers' compensation

The company paired up with SimplyInsured, Guideline 401(k), Alice and AP Intego to make the offerings available. Business owners can select benefits to fit their business and their budget. After completing a one-time enrollment, no additional work is required and benefits sync with Square Payroll for needed deductions and business contributions.
