Elevation Burger to open at national zoo

Elevation Burger will open a location at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C. on Friday, July 24 through a partnership between parent company, Fat Brands, and franchisee Yousuf Nagaria, of Capitol Concessions LLC, according to a news release.

"Elevation Burger is a fan favorite in the communities surrounding Washington D.C. and it was only natural to add a location in the Nation's Capital," Andy Wiederhorn, Fat Brands CEO, said in the release.

The location on Connecticut Avenue NW will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The 18-year-old Elevation Burger is one of eight brands under Fat Brands' umbrella, which in total encompass 375 stores globally.
