El Pollo Loco opens 3rd Oceanside store

The fire-grilled chicken chain, El Pollo Loco,  opened ts third location in Oceanside, California, according to a news release. The  3,017-square-foot location allows nearly 80 guests to dine in and has an open kitchen, so they can watch the flames do their work.  

"We are thrilled to open the third El Pollo Loco in Oceanside and bring over 40 jobs to the local community," said Franchisee Aaron Pingel of Chic Pollo. "We are very involved in the communities we serve and we look forward to furthering our relationship with the city by continuing to partner with local schools, churches and non-profits to coordinate fundraisers, school tours and other special events."

The chain has more than 430 company-owned and franchised restaurants, mostly in the southwest. It's expanding its presence in  key Texas markets, including Houston and Dallas.
