Einstein Noah unveils new corporate wellness program

Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Inc. (ENRGI) has implemented a new wellness program, the ENRGI & You Wellness Program, which went into effect May 2.

“We understand the importance of both physical and mental wellness, so we want to help our employees maintain a balanced lifestyle,” said Karen Alexander, senior director of Human Resources for ENRGI. “We’re excited to begin the fun and interactive new program and see the positive impact around the office.”

ENRGI & You will focus on four themes: fitness, healthy eating, mental health/stress, alternative medicine and education on ENRGI’s medical plan. ENRGI will offer employees easy ways to stay active and in shape, including yoga lessons during lunch, boot camps in the evenings, Weight Watchers programs at work, stretch and relax classes at lunch, and expert speakers on a variety of different topics.

ENRGI also is encouraging employees by sharing helpful tips, posters and emails around the office pointing out fun and interesting health-related facts. Discounted gym memberships, wellness items and flu shots are all part of the program. As an additional side contest, employees can compete in an inter-department “Shape Up” contest.
