Concessions International, a food service concessionaire with operations in airports across the United States, has announced its latest restaurant opening of the first Einstein Bros. Bagels in Terminal A of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The DFW Einstein Bros. is operated by a joint venture between Concessions International and MBC Concessions, an Atlanta-based ACDBE partner – airport concessions disadvantaged business enterprise, according to a company press release
Atlanta-based Concessions International operates national brands in eight airports in the U.S. and St. Thomas, V.I., including an Einstein Bros. in the Detroit airport. The two brands have enjoyed an 11-year partnership, but this is CI's first Einstein Bros. location in DFW, where it also will be opening the first airport location for Genghis Grill in Terminal E later this year. The Genghis Grill restaurant will also be operated by a joint venture with MBC Concessions.
"We are very strategic in our approach to operation expansion," said CI chief executive, Donata Russell Major. "Einstein Bros. Bagels is already a national favorite, so we are confident DFW travelers will appreciate the addition of this beloved bagel bakery to one of the nation's busiest airports."
