Einstein Bros. introduces new breakfast sandwich

GOLDEN, Colo. — Einstein Bros. Bagels, one of the brands under New World Restaurant Group Inc., introduced the Spicy Elmo egg sandwich.

 

According to a news release, the sandwich contains a bacon, green onion and three-egg omelet topped with Swiss cheese and served on a round challah roll topped with a spicy shmear.

 

"This new breakfast sandwich demonstrates how we're continuing to offer unique and satisfying breakfast options," said Paul Murphy, New World president and chief executive officer. "From the Spicy Elmo and Sante Fe breakfast sandwiches to our jalapeno bagels, we're giving our guests more ways to wake up their taste buds with Einstein Bros."
