East Hampton Sandwich Company adding 7 Texas locations

The 2-year-old chain hopes to triple its footprint in the next two years.

East Hampton Sandwich Company announced plans to expand in the Dallas metro with three new locations in 2015, and four more locations covering other areas of the state in 2016.

"Companies like Toyota and FedEx are coming to North Texas for a reason," said founder Hunter Pond in a company press release. "It's a great place to do business and at East Hampton Sandwich Co. we're focused on canvasing Texas first. The response has been fantastic. We hear from customers that East Hampton fills the void between a pedestrian sandwich experience and a sit-down fine dining sandwich option."

The chain, which launched in 2012, currently has three units operating in the Dallas area.
