Continuing its aggressive expansion outside of its North Carolina hub, East Coast Wings & Grill, a restaurant concept known for its 75 flavors of award-winning buffalo-style wings, has turned its attention to opening as many as 20 restaurants throughout Tennessee over the next five years.
Having recently inked a franchise development agreement in Knoxville, company executives have set their sights on Nashville and Memphis for growth, as well.
The Knoxville group's agreement calls for five restaurants with ambitions to expand the investment to at least 50 within seven years in several states. Meanwhile, CEO Sam Ballas believes the Memphis and Nashville markets can hold as many as five and 10 stores, respectively.
"We've built a little slower than normal as a franchise model, but that gave us the opportunity to pivot the brand and establish a top line standard," said Ballas, noting the company's dedication to finding quality franchisees. "Focusing on this strategic growth, we are confident Tennessee will provide another successful expansion for us."
