Earl of Sandwich is now open in downtown San Diego at 690 1st Avenue.
The first-ever San Diego store is owned and operated by San Diego local Alan Nguyen, according to a press release.
"It's an honor to bring the first Earl of Sandwich to San Diego," said Nguygen in the release. "When I began looking for a new opportunity, I wanted a brand with a focus on quality, and Earl of Sandwich has incredible ingredients while letting guests create their perfect sandwich. The brand has a strong following in southern California, and I;m excited for new and old patrons to have an Earl of Sandwich right around the corner."
The chain has more than 30 restaurants open and operating in 13 states, and one in France.
