Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s “Guac on the Rock” supporting local restaurants

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is launching a "Guac on the Rock" promotion that will reimburse restaurant customers up to $1,000,000 when they purchase guacamole with any Teremana Tequila cocktail from May 1 through May 5. Teremana tequila is Johnson's small batch tequila brand, according to a press release.

Johnson hopes to encourage consumer confidence in dining out locally while generating millions of dollars of additional revenue and tips for restaurants and its servers hard hit by the pandemic.

"I want to help get people safely back into our restaurants, bars and hotels," Johnson said in the release. "This is an industry close to my heart and one who normally gives all of us so much support year-round. These people need our help and support to get back in business," Johnson said. "Let's go help them out, enjoy some amazing drinks and food and say thank you for all they do. And let everyone know that the Guac's on The Rock!"

Consumers interested in participating in the promotion can upload their itemized receipt that includes an order of guacamole and Teremana tequila cocktails by heading directly to guacontherock.com or by scanning the unique QR code in the restaurant. Customers must also adhere to the following rules:

• Reimbursement will be up to $10 per person for a single guacamole order with a Teremana Tequila cocktail from Saturday, May 1, 2021 - Wednesday, May 5 2021.
• Reimbursement is for dining in or take out order.
• Reimbursement will be capped nationwide at $1 million dollars of guacamole purchased.
• Once approved, funds will be transferred directly to the customer's Venmo account.
• Participants must be aged 21 and over and a resident of the U.S. Rules and legal restrictions may vary by state.
