DoorDash, TripAdvisor partner on food delivery access

DoorDash, and travel site, TripAdvisor are teaming up to provide nationwide food delivery service to TripAdvisor users.

The partnership will offer DoorDash service in more than 1,800 North America cities. TripAdvisor will add online ordering capabilities to more than 24,000 TripAdvisor restaurant listings that previously had no online ordering links, according to a press release.

“Our integration with DoorDash will make it even easier for diners to order food online and get it delivered right to them, wherever they are, said Evan Becker, head of key accounts, TripAdvisor Restaurants, in the release. "The partnership will also help restaurateurs gain more exposure on our site."

DoorDash partners with 90 percent of the top 100 restaurants that offer delivery, including national favorites like Chipotle, IHOP, Chick-fil-A, Red Lobster and White Castle, and is the exclusive delivery provider for The Cheesecake Factory and Wendy’s.

Customers with DashPass, DoorDash’loyalty subscription offering, will also be able to access unlimited $0 delivery fees on orders of $15 or more from hundreds of local and national restaurants available with DoorDash through TripAdvisor.
