Dog Haus opening virtual restaurant in Central Austin

Dog Haus Gourmet has opened a virtual restaurant in Austin, Texas, according to a press release.

"This is our second Dog Haus location in the city, but it's the first in Central Austin," Franchisee Michael Kim said in the release. "It's incredibly convenient for UT students and staff, and folks working downtown that're looking for delicious, quality food that can be delivered straight to their office or dorm.

In addition to delivery and pickup only, the restaurant, located at 5610 N. Interstate Hwy. 35, offers menu items from three of The Absolute Brands' delivery-only brands; Bad Mutha Clucka, Plant B and Bad-Ass Breakfast Burritos. Created by Dog Haus' founders, The Absolute Brands is a virtual restaurant group offering items that are off-shoots of Dog Haus' menu for delivery.

Dog Haus is celebrating its grand opening now through March 7 at Austin's CloudKitchens facility and will have these third-party delivery app specials:

• DoorDash: Free delivery on all orders
• Grubhub: $3 off orders of at least $15
• Postmates: $3 off orders of at least $15
• UberEats: $3 off orders of at least $15

Dog Haus opened in 2010 in Pasadena and now has has 35 locations and two virtual kitchens.
