Dillas Quesadillas hires Michael Mabry to head franchise development

North Texas-based Dillas Quesadillas has named restaurant industry veteran Michael Mabry as its head of Franchise Development.

"We've always said Dillas is built on community, quality and culture," Kyle Gordon, co-founder and CEO of Dillas Quesadillas, said in a company press release. "Michael embodies all three. He's a seasoned operator and has been a trusted mentor, a friend of the brand and a believer in what Dillas can become. With Michael leading franchise development, we're ready to scale smartly while staying true to what makes us special."

Mabry's background includes executive roles at Mooyah Burgers, Fuzzy's Taco Shop, Boston Pizza Restaurants and Brinker International. His strategy for growth prioritizes building strong partnerships that align with the Dillas brand.

"Dillas is creating a new segment in the restaurant space, the same way pizza carved its own path out of Italian food," Mabry said in the release. "It's bold, craveable and hyper-focused on execution, and customers are responding. Our goal now is to find the right partners who share our passion, not just for the food, but for the culture and customer experience."

Mabry plans to begin his role by working in Dillas locations to gain a firsthand understanding of restaurant operations before onboarding new partners. This hands-on approach reflects a brand-first philosophy of ensuring franchise success is fully supported.
