A new Dickey's Barbecue Pit will open at 1920 Centerville Turnpike, Suite 104 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on Sept. 11. It's the second Dickey's in Virginia Beach for franchisee Matt Burnett.
The first 50 guests will receive gift cards worth up to $50 each. Winners will also be drawn for a $500 gift card and free barbecue for a year. Pulled pork barbecue sandwiches will be sold for $2 each. The store will also give away free Dickey's merchandise.
Roland Dickey, chairman and lead chef of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, will be on hand Sept. 12 to sign hand out 100 autographed copies of his cookbook.
