Dickey's Barbecue Pit has executed a development agreement for three stores just south of Los Angeles. The stores, located in Lomita, Hawthorne and El Segundo, are under the direction of Alex Roth, a former United States Marine Corps reservist. He opened his first franchise three years ago in Redondo Beach, where he increased sales by 300 percent, according to a company press release.
The Hawthorn location is slated to open by early 2017, followed by Lomita by the end of 2017.
"Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is proud to expand so rapidly in California this year," said Roland Dickey Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. "We have opened several new stores throughout The Golden State, which has the greatest number of Dickey’s locations after Texas."
