Dickey's set to open three new stores

Dickey's Barbecue Pit will open three new units in Texas, Washington and North Carolina.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit has announced  it will open three new units on Aug. 28 in Texas, Washington and North Carolina:

• Sam and Yasmin Poonawala will open a new unit at 6721 Bridge Street in Ft. Worth, Texas. The Poonawalas own multiple franchises, and plans to open another Dickey's Barbecue in the Dallas area.
• Dan Pelfrey will open a new unit at 122 Highway 395 in Kennewick, Wash.  He plans to open two additional location in Pasco and Richland by 2016.
• Mike Wiemers will open a new unit at 235 St. John's Road, Suite 10&12 in Fletcher, N.C. Wiemers is a former senior vice president for Huddle House.
