Dickey's parading through NOLA

Dickey's multi-unit franchisee Robert Dunning is expanding the brand's New Orleans footprint by opening three locations next year, including a food truck in LaPlace and two free-standing units in the suburban areas of Destrehan and Chalmette, Louisana, according to a company press release.

Dunning, who owns three units, opened his first Dickey's in 2014 and serves on the barbecue brand's technology advisory committee alongside other Dickey's franchisees.

"Robert is truly a brand champion and we're proud to be his partner and watch him build on his success by serving even more folks Legit. Texas. Barbecue.," Laura Rea Dickey, CEO of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants Inc., said in the release.

Dickey's has more than 500 locations in the U.S. and UAE.
