Dickey's opens near Travis AFB and in Vegas

Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants will open two new restaurants on Oct. 2, one at Gateway Courtyard 1586 Gateway Boulevard, Suite C-7 in Fairfield, California, near Travis Air Force Base and one at 6584 North Decatur Boulevard in Las Vegas.

Both openings will be marked with three days of merchandise giveaways, gift card giveaways and pulled pork sandwiches offered for $2 each.

The California unit is owned by John Sanchez and his business partner, Richard Breedwell. They also own a location in Vacaville and plan on opening three more locations in the area over the next three years

The Nevada location is owned by first time franchise owner John Schouten.
