Dickey's California franchisee opening 12 locations

Dickey's Barbecue Pit  has signed a 12-store agreement with franchisee Michael Tucker of La Quinta, California, allowing him to expand the brand to northern San Diego County, according to a company press release. 

Tucker's original agreement contained just four stores, which are slated to open in Indio, Moreno Valley and Redlands. With his extended agreement, Tucker will start developing in Mira Mesa, then extend north. He will also open a new store as far south as National City, according to the release.
