Dickey's Barbecue Pit is building momentum in the Denver area. With four stores open there already, the company is looking for multiple new spaces.
"Denver is a strong market for our quality barbecue and down home sides," said Roland Dickey, Jr., president of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants Inc. "We have big plans for the Denver area."
Dickey's Barbecue added more than 66 stores last year and is planning to add 100 new locations nationwide in 2012. The fast casual restaurant chain just signed on another new franchise owner looking for new sites in the Denver area.
Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened its first location in Dallas in 1941 and began franchising in 1994. The company has more than 200 locations in 36 states nationwide.
