Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is set to make its debut in Louisville, Ky., June 12, under the leadership of David Robinson. According to a news release, Robinson is a certified registered nurse anesthetist who first tried Dickey’s while visiting Nashville, Tenn., and decided to expand the concept in his hometown.
To celebrate the grand opening, Robinson and his team are hosting a three-day celebration and the first 50 guests will receive a gift card for up to $50.
"Louisville has a lot of restaurant options, but was missing the slow smoked Texas barbecue that Dickey's Barbecue Pit offers," Robinson said in the release. "Dickey's offers a top-notch product and I know it's going be well received in the Louisville area."
North Carolina adds another Dickey’s
Dickey’s will also open another location in Canton, N.C., on Thursday, run by business partners, Dorothy Elias and Fran Noel. This will market their second Dickey's Barbecue Pit location.
The Canton location will also open with a three-day grand opening celebration and the first 50 dine-in customers will receive a gift card for up to $50.
