Dickey's adding to Canada footprint

Texas-basedDickey's Barbecue Pit is expanding across Canada this summer with two stores in Alberta. Owner Sajeev Kottackal, and his pit crew, opened a store last month in Ft. Saskatchewan at 9382 South Fort Dr., # 106 Fort. and owner Faisal Khan Suri opened a location this month in Leduc at 4812 - 43A Ave.

"The timing of these openings greatly complements Canada Day on July 1st and offers Canadians across Alberta the options to eat in, take away or have their gathering catered by our two newest locations, as well as our 3 other stores in Edmonton," Executive Vice President of International Sales Jim Perkins said in a company press release.

Dickey's has over 700 restaurants nationwide including brands Wing Boss, Trailer Birds, Big Deal Burger and bbqathome.com
