Detroit Wingstop locations celebrate Take 5 promotion

To commemorate the grand opening of Wingstop's newest location at 1331 W. 8 Mile Rd., Detroit-area Wingstop restaurants are celebrating with a one-time only "Take 5" event Dec. 28.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., guests are invited to receive five free classic or boneless wings, sauced-and-tossed in their choice of any one Wingstop signature flavors. According to a news release, the offer is available — no purchase necessary — while supplies last at all Detroit-area Wingstop restaurants.

"We are excited to be able to treat Detroit wing fans to something they love right in time for the holidays," said Detroit Brand Partner John Draper. "We know we have a big fan-base in Detroit, and we want to be able to serve them our delicious wings in this city-wide event."

The participating Detroit-area Wingstop locations are located at:

• 1331 W. 8 Mile Rd. (Detroit);
• 28656 Dequindre Rd (Warren);
• 28517 Schoolcraft Rd. (Livonia); and
• 25110 Evergreen Rd. (Southfield).
