Denver home for James Beard chef’s fast casual

James Beard Award-winning chef,Alex Seidel ,opens his fast casual restaurant, called Chook, today in Denver with partners, Adam Schlegel and Randy Layman.

Chook, the Australian word for chicken, promises moderately priced fare, from $9 to $13 meals, according to a Denver Post report. The chicken is cooked over a charcoal rotisserie and meal sides include vegetables, mac-and-cheese and salads.

The fast casual is located at 1330 South Pearl Street.
