Chief Concept & Innovation Officer resigns from Panera post

Panera EVP Scott Davis is stepping down after nearly 20 years with the company to focus on his health.

Panera EVP and Chief Concept & Innovation Officer Scott G. Davis will not return following his previously announced sabbatical for personal reasons to focus on his health. Davis' last day of employment will be Dec. 31.

Davis has served with Panera since 1995, when it was known as Saint Louis Bread Co. He was named EVP in 2010.

Davis also worked for Au Bon Pain.
