David Deno becomes Quiznos president

DENVER — Quiznos has announced the appointment of David Deno as president, effective immediately. Deno will report directly to Quiznos chief executive Greg Brenneman.
"The addition of Dave as president is the final piece in our strategy to bring an outstanding quick service management team to Quiznos," Brenneman said. "Dave is an incredible leader who served as both the COO and CFO of YUM during his 23 years in our industry. He is singularly committed to helping us continue to increase franchise owner profitability at Quiznos." As president, Deno will oversee all operations including field operations, operations support and delivery/catering sales and implementation; food and equipment distribution and international development. Deno joins Quiznos from CCMP Capital, an ownership partner in Quiznos, where he was a managing director. While at CCMP, he was a Quiznos board member.
Before joining CCMP, Deno spent more than 15 years with YUM Brands and PepsiCo. As chief operating officer — and, previously, chief financial officer — he was instrumental in growing YUM Brands and building shareholder value after its spinoff from PepsiCo in 1997. Deno also held senior positions in YUM's International and Pizza Hut divisions. Prior to joining YUM, he worked for Burger King Corporation for eight years in various finance, real estate and operations assignments.
