Dave's Hot Chicken continues SoCal expansion

Los Angeles-based Dave's Hot Chicken is adding a sixth unit Monday when it opens at 1350 E. Colorado St., in Glendale, California.

Owned and operated by the brand's founders, Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan and brothers Tommy and Gary Rubenyan, the 2,150 square-foot location will offer take-out and delivery as well as dine-in service in its 350 square-foot patio. Team members will wear custom Dave's Hot Chicken masks and enforce social distancing, according to a company press release.

"Dave's Hot Chicken continues to blow people's minds with an insane combination of craveable hot chicken, unique spice combinations and best-in-class hospitality," Bill Phelps, CEO of Dave's Hot Chicken, said in the release. "We're looking forward to bringing the most flavorful hot chicken to communities across California and beyond, as we continue to build momentum toward what we feel will be a wildly successful 2021."
