Daphne's Greek Cafe names new president

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Daphne's Greek Café has named Steve Fricker as president of the fast-casual chain.
Fricker formerly served as president and chief executive officer of Panera Bread franchisee R&S Bread Group, a company he founded in 2005.
Prior to R&S Bread Group, Fricker served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the California franchisee for Outback Steakhouse restaurants. From 1994 to 2004, the company built and operated 56 restaurants throughout California.
Daphne's founder and CEO George Katakalidis will continue to lead strategic initiatives for the company.
