Dallas welcomes 4th Masala Wok

December 9, 2013

Masala Wok has opened a fourth Dallas location at 6106 Luther Lane, according to a company press release.

The new Dallas location is owned and operated by Masala Wok Holdings and is the sixth corporate-owned restaurant out of 11 total locations across Texas and Virginia. The company expects strong consumer interest to continue in the Dallas market as it looks to build its brand to fuel further expansion in the area, said Pramod Prodduturi, Masala Wok's president. The chain opened its 10th location a couple months ago in Sugarland,Texas.

"Our fans in Dallas have spoken: 'We want more locations to visit!' And we have listened," Prodduturi said. "We are thrilled to continue our expansion by building an even stronger presence in Dallas."

Masala Wok's menu features traditional Indian meals and popular Asian fare, Prodduturi said.  Traditional Indian dishes include meats and breads cooked in tandoor (clay oven) and curries prepared with fresh "Masala" (ground spices). Asian dishes are prepared with fresh vegetables, meats, and sauces stir fried in a wok, according to the press release.
