Corner Bakery ready for Idaho debut

July 15, 2014

Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce today announced it has secured a site for the first Idaho franchise location of Corner Bakery Cafe at The Village at Meridian in Boise.

Jeffrey Hall, director and retail specialist with Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce, brokered the long-term lease on behalf of FEAST Northwest Cafe LLC, the Corner Bakery Cafe franchisee in the region.

"The Village at Meridian will be home to the first of at least five Corner Bakery Cafe locations throughout Idaho and Eastern Washington," Hall said in a company press release. "The location specifications that FEAST required were stringent. This location, which will open in October, met them well. Our objective for FEAST, which also operates 170 franchise Jack in the Box restaurants in the Pacific Northwest and Southern California under the name of FEAST Foods LLC, will be to find exceptional sites for other Corner Bakery Cafe locations in Twin Falls, Coeur d' Alene and other cities as well."

FEAST Foods was recently named the 2014 Developer of the Year by Jack in the Box.

"Our growth strategy will be similar to that of our approach to Jack in the Box," said Ben Eramya, a principal of FEAST Foods. "The goal is to strategically build as many Corner Bakery Cafes as needed to meet the demand of our guests in the markets we serve. FEAST Foods is extremely excited about our partnership with the Corner Bakery Cafe brand."

FEAST will expand the Corner Bakery Cafe brand out of Idaho into eastern Washington and San Diego as well in coming years.
