Curry Up Now prepping 1st northern NJ location

Indian fast casual Curry Up Now has locked down the first of five stores it's planning to open in northern New Jersey.

The location, at 58 Halsey St., in Newark's business district, is part of a mixed-use development with tenants like Whole Foods, Petco, and Barnes & Noble and is slated to open this fall.

It marks Curry Up Now's first location in the northeast and is among 40-plus franchised units in development across the country, according to a press release.
