Curry Up Now opening in Atlanta

Curry Up Now is opening its first Atlanta-area unit July 30 at 1575 Church St., in Decatur, Georgia.

"We've been eagerly waiting to open our doors and finally bring Curry Up Now's unique and innovative Indian eats to Atlanta," Atlanta franchisee Hemant Suri, said in a company press release. "Decatur is known for its impressive and ever-growing food scene, which is why we wanted to introduce Curry Up Now to this area."

Curry Up Now, which began as a food truck in 2009, in Northern California, now operates six brick-and-mortar units and three food trucks in California's Bay Area and has corporate and franchised units in development across California, New Jersey, Colorado, Utah and Atlanta.
